In 2022, after a few turbulent years that tested the whole world, a spark of optimism lit up the heart of Swansea City Centre. We stood before two empty units – tired, worn down, and almost forgotten. But where others saw neglect, we saw potential. We imagined something more: one big, warm, welcoming venue where anyone could walk through the doors and feel instantly at home.

That dream became The Storyteller.

The name didn’t come first—it found us later. The high ceilings kept drawing our eyes upward, making us wonder: what could we do with all this space? Then it struck us. We could fill these walls with stories— stories of Wales, of its people, of our own passions. We could make the building itself speak, sharing tales old and new, weaving together the past and the present.
